Hello world!

This is a start on a new location for the blog from Upsaid.com.

When you get your membership, please add a comment to this message, so that I know 1) it worked; 2) to add you to the list of commenters.  I want everyone to be able to comment here, but I also want to instill some accountability by requiring people to register.
Also, I set the colors for the top of the page to match the YellowJackets colors, though I’m not sure how good it looks. Any feedback? Having never been a YellowJacket it’s hard for me to get used to them! :-)

    Katrina, I did not find your post so it might be awaiting moderation? I’m not exactly sure what that is all about? This is a bit different than upsaid so it will most likel;y take some getting used to.

    Hi Stew, I really like having a free forum to discuss happenings in Windsor. Would you consider making some changes/enhancements to this forum:
    1. all free posting, so that windsor residents can create their own topic?
    2. All postings to be published immediately (e.g. no filtering prior to posting). I think this is necessary to promote an environment where free speech is possible.
    3. Create categories for Events, Government, For Sale/Wanted, Business Directory.

    Just my 2 cents. Hope this is possible.

    Tracey, if you go to the upper menu, click My Dashboards (actually a menu) and click on Windsorvt.wordpress, once you get in there you will find, in the lower right hand corner of “BlogStats”, a link called “categories”. If you click on that you can add your own. Hope this helps..?

    Thanks Fred. I just tried creating a new topic, but there is no “publish” button for me to activate my post. It is waiting for “Moderation,” I believe. I wonder if we should all have the ability to be an “author” so that our posts are immediately active.
