I am wondering if there is a way to get the Selectboard meeting minutes posted to this forum on a regular basis. I think this would promote awareness of Town matter.

p.s. Thanks Fred for the forum usage instructions.

I guess we can start using this here now. Does anyone know how many dispatchers are now working at Windsor PD? What about police officers, how many now, full and part time for both? Thanks

The following information comes from Upsaid:
- Linda Holloway | 09.25.06 | 2:33 pm
Based on the 2004 — 2005 Town Report, the Town as of the date of compilation had the following full time police officers and here is the current status of each to the best of my personal knowledge, information, and belief:
(1) Chief Dennis Brown — still active
(2) Lt. V. Jordan — retired; replaced by Officer M. Limoges who was emploed as a full time dispatcher at the date of compilation of the Town Report
(3) Sergeant S. Morse — placed on paid administrative 2/2006 & terminated 7/2006 — position is open pending result of grievance
(4) Sergeant J.Cushing — currently on leave of absence; awaiting return to schedule by Chief Brown
(5) Sergeant P. Call — active
(6) Officer J. Adams — resigned; replaced by Officer E. Green
(7) Officer J. Logan — resigned; replaced by R. Lakin
(8) School Resource Officer – R. Christendsen — active
So the current active full time police force is: Brown, Call, Limoges, Green, Lakin, and SRO Christensen with Cushing awaiting return to the schedule. Morse’s position is open pending challenges to his termination.
To the best of my current information and belief, the current part time officers are also available for duty: Officer B. North, J. Moody, J. McGuire, J.Richardson, and M. Boutiler.

I spoke with Lynn about posting the minutes on the new site. She will look in to posting them on the official town website which is http://www.vermont-towns.org/Windsor and hopefully you can repost them here from there.

Thanks Margo. If we can actually arrange to have the minutes posted, that would be a great opportunity for folks to brought up to date on town government affairs.

I believe the SB meeting will be aired tonight at 6 or 6:30 on WOA. That’s CH 8 on cable. For those who prefer to watch it.

Alas, I don’t live in Windsor and don’t get WOA. Wouldn’t it be neat to get a videostream on this blog from Windsor On Air? Vermont Public Radio has something called podcasting but that’s WAY too technical for me. (I can’t even program our VCR, have to get Ken to do it.)

A correction to the selectboard agenda post. Just received an amended notice of the meeting from the town office. The words “or evaluation” were deleted from the first item under executive session. No other changes.
