Joining this Blog

In order to be able to comment on this blog, you must be a registered WordPress user.

But I think this will be a better location for us than Upsaid, in time, but it will be a little cumbersome for all at first.

Here’s what you need to do:

Sorry this process is a little cumbersome, but you only have to do it once.

1) Sign up with WordPress by clicking this sign-up link. It will open a new browser window, so you can jump back to these instructions as you need.

2) Enter the username you want

3) Enter your email address (which no one else will be able to see when you post)

4) Click the check mark next to “I have read and agree…”

5) If you DO NOT want your own WordPress blog, click the circle next to “Just a username, please.”

6) Click the Next>> button

The next screen will show you your username, then tell you to check the email address you used for their activation email message. Please be patient for them to send the message. It could take up to an hour.

7) On that email message, just click the link marked “To activate your user, please click the following link:”.

This will open up your browser to WordPress and say “All set!”

Write down, print, copy or otherwise notice your PASSWORD on this screen. You’ll need it so don’t lose it!

8) Click the login button.

9) Log into your new account.

10) NOW, click on this link to come back to this blog.

11) Add your comment to a topic and you should see it posted there immediately.

12) If you want to become a contributor to this blog so you can write articles, reply to this topic and tell me you want to be a contributor.

12) Now close all the old pages! -)

Thanks for your perseverence!

Stew, I believe this blog is going to do very well. Everyone should email their friends and inform them of it.

Copy, and paste this link into an email and send it along to them:

    Thanks!

PS: I have noticed we still have some anonymous posters, please reconsider? It’s nice to know who we’re holding a discussion with and if we keep it calm and respectful, there is really nothing to worry about.

    Stew -
Not sure if I have permissions to write posts, so would you please put these out there? Thank you ever so much, -Sharon.

There are 3 events coming up that relate to the upcoming elections. First is this Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008 at 7pm – a LIVE call in show to ask questions re: the school budget. Brenda Needham will be in the Windsor On Air studio, and there will be people taking questions for her at 674-5200 or 674-2900. Questions can also be emailed to woa-tv@comcast.net. or left on the WOA answering machine (674-5200) ahead of time.

The second event, on Wednesday teh 13th, is again a call in show. This time re: the town budget. Mike Farrell will be at the WOA studio, answering questions. People can get questions to Mike Farrell the same way as for Brenda Needham – phone, or email.

Both these shows will be taped for replay until town Meeting day.

The third event is being sponsored by the Windsor-Mt.Ascutney Region Chamber of Commerce, Windsor on Air and American Legion Post # 25. This candidates forum for selectboard will be open to all the town, held at the American Legion on Wednesday Feb 20th, at 7pm. Post Commander Ed Brown will be the moderator, each candidate will have a chance to make open and cloisng statements, there will be a time of questions from the floor, and questions from members of the media – Valley News, Rutland Herald, Eagle Times and Windsor Area Observer have all been invited to send panelists.

Any questions about these events can be directed to me at woa-tv@comcast.net or adminassist@windsorvt.com, or call WOA (5200) or the Chamber (5910).

Thank you for getting this info out!

    Best regards,
    Sharon Chouinard
    Exec. Director Windsor on Air
